Senegalese President Macky Sall has appointed Marie Khémesse Ngom Ndiaye, as the new minister of health, replacing Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr.

The change which was announced on the state media on Thursday, is coming barely 24 hours after a fire outbreak at a hospital in Tivaouane killed 11 new borns.
