The ECOWAS conference engaged in facilitating effective media coverage for the upcoming presidential elections in Senegal continued on Tuesday. 

Organized in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation, facilitators stressed the need for journalists to be vigilant at all times to avoid distributing false information for public consumption.

According to the Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, Suleimana Braima, the menace of disinformation can also involve state governments.
