In Senegal, the sponsorship campaign to have one’s candidacy validated for the next presidential election is continuing.

Supporters of incarcerated opposition candidate Ousmane Sonko are out in force, collecting sponsorships for Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Sonko’s designated replacement.

They still have 3 weeks to collect at least 45,000 signatures.
