In Senegal, religious clerics have been anticipating unrest since the lifting of the parliamentary immunity of opposition leader Ousmane Sonko.
This weekend, the clerics visited the home of the leader of Pastef who is due to stand trial for allegedly raping a female massager and issuing death treats on her.
They declare that they want to play a role in the case which has already resulted in the arrest of many opposition supporters.
