This Tuesday, the humanitarian organization Save The Children is launching its annual report on the rights of young girls in West and Central Africa.
The event is taking place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso’s capital and this year, the focus is on the link between climate change and violations of girls’ rights.
The NGO aims to refocus the debate on this issue and urge governments to commit to the well-being of girls.
The launch of this report is part of the celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child this Wednesday.
