The countries of the Confederation of Sahel States have announced the development of a telecommunications and remote sensing satellite.

This announcement was made during a ministerial meeting of the three nations held yesterday, Monday, in Bamako.

This project, led by a Russian company, will provide satellite images for state border surveillance, thereby enhancing national security within the AES space.
