In Ghana, residents of the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region have taken to the streets to protest for the reopening of the Aflao land border, which connects the residents to Togo.
The border, which has been closed for over a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, served as a link between the two countries allowing them to trade and conduct business amongst themselves.
The protesters called for the President, Nana Akuffo-Addo to reopen the borders in order for economic activities to resume.
