The initiative "Stronger with Breastmilk Only" was officially launched in Senegal on Thursday 21 October by NGO ALIVE THRIVE, UNICEF and WHO.
This is to promote the benefits of breast milk which ensures normal growth of the infant in order to avoid certain childhood diseases and also the well-being of the mother.
This initiative concerns the whole of Senegal, and the launch was attended by national authorities from the sub-region and internationally.
