President Adama Barrow has praised the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS for the pace of the transition in the Gambia.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony to serve his second term on Wednesday, Barrow said the presence of ECOWAS troops in the Gambia signifies the relevance and competence of the block.
