Barrow oversees performance contract signing between the government and SOEs

President Adama Barrow on Tuesday presided over the signing of a performance contract between the Gambian Government and State-Owned Enterprises SOEs at the State House in Banjul.

The bond will oblige SOEs to meet targeted goals in the government’s national development endeavours.

It is also expected that the enterprises providing essential social services for the public do so in a financially and operationally robust manner to ease the pressure on government resources and contribute positively to economic growth.
