Armyworms are said to be invading three counties in Liberia, threatening crops and water sources.

The counties are Bong, Nimba, and Gbarpolu.

The situation, according to Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Regional Development George Forpoh, has resulted in many farmers abandoning the farms in search of refugees elsewhere.
