Gina Bass is a 28-year-old Gambian athlete Gina Bass and the first female sprinter to secure qualification to an Olympic event in the 2022 Olympic Games.
The 200m African champion is also the first athlete from the Gambia to have reached the final at World Championship.
In 2019, Bass won a gold medal at the African Games in Rabat, Morocco as well as set three national records.
