The Nigerien Junta under the aegis of the the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP), Friday updated an earlier report about a deadly attack in the southwest region.

The revised information on Thursday which announced the death of at least twelve soldiers during the attack in Kandadji near the tri-border area also confirmed a heavy toll on the side of the insurgents.
