Nigeria's Department of State Services (DSS) has raised an alarm over plans by terrorists to attack military bases in border towns across the country.

The security agency also called on the Nigeria Customs Service to be on alert and avert the pending attacks by the insurgents in border communities in the southwest state of Ogun.

The DSS in addition said that the warning is based on intelligence it gathered.
