One of Nigeria’s oldest universities Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), is currently facing a major challenge as its students threaten to shut down the institution in response to a recent tuition and fees hike imposed by the school management. 

For several days, students have taken to the streets of the university, holding peaceful demonstrations to express their disapproval of the new policy.
