Nigeria’s govt moves to avert labour union’s proposed 2-day warning strike

The Nigerian government and the labor unions’ negotiation ended inconclusively on Monday.

The workers insist that they will proceed with the two-day warning strike scheduled to begin today, Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, the Minister of Labor and Employment, Simon Bako Lalong, told the press that he is yet to receive any official notice of the strike as required by law.
