A women’s rights group under the aegis of Voice of Women, VOW2022 on Tuesday presented a charter of demands for action on the full implementation of the 35% affirmative action of women in public offices.
The demand was presented before the leading presidential candidates of the forthcoming general elections billed to hold in February 2023.
The group harped on the importance of the 35per cent gender parity for the elimination of gender discrimination, promotion of gender equality and equity and the empowerment of women.
