The fight against Gender-Based Violence is gaining momentum in Nigeria as wives of Nigerian Governors partner with legislators to implement the Violence Against Persons Prohibition, VAAP bill after it was passed into law in 2015.

At a one-day Gender Based Violence close-out workshop on Wednesday, the governor's wives say the growing statistics are becoming worrisome.
