The Nigerian army has announced the death of about fifty Boko Haram militants.
They were neutralized in operations in the strongholds of the group in the northeast of the country. At the same time, authorities are discussing with neighboring Cameroon the return of surrendered fighters.
Since last May, hundreds of militants of the terrorist group have laid down their arms and are in re-education camps in the far north of Cameroon.
