The Federal government of Nigeria is collaborating with UN agencies and development partners to tackle the many humanitarian challenges across the country.

The meeting climaxed with a 5 billion dollar annual commitment to the Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund.

Partners and representatives present at the first humanitarian coordination conference in Abuja, the capital city all gave their assurances.
