The Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, NEITI has threatened to round up 51 companies indebted to the federal government in taxes, royalties, and rents before anti-corruption agencies.
NEITI issued the threat at a one-day workshop to build the capacity of civil society groups in order to strengthen accountability in the nation’s oil and gas sector.
