The Nigerian military announced the arrival of the first batch of six A-29 Super Tucano aircraft procured from the United States of America.
It says the aircraft arrived in Kano State on Thursday.
A statement from the Nigerian Air Force says the Minister of Defence, Chief of Army Staff, and Chief of Air Staff received the attack aircraft.
