Nigeria’s North western state of Kano State has announced the suspension of all operational licenses of all private schools across the state until they are vetted.
Commissioner for Education, Sanusi Said Kiru made the announcement on Monday.
The measures are in response to the killing of a 5-year-old Noble Kids pupil, Hanifa Abubakar by her teacher, Abdulmalik Tanko and the alleged cases of rape among school children by some proprietors.
