Following multiple attacks and kidnap of several students and teachers in Schools in the Nigeria's North Western Kaduna State, authorities in the State have ordered the indefinite closure of 13 schools in areas vulnerable to bandits and kidnappers. 

This directive was contained in a letter from Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority to proprietors of affected schools.
