Governor of Zamfara State, North Western Nigeria, Bello Mattawalle, has revealed that joint efforts are on to bring banditry to an end in the State. 

He disclosed this when he visited some security operatives who 

sustained injuries after a gun duel with the bandits on Friday.

Governor Matawalle, while commiserating with the troops, also reacted to the recent attacks on communities in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas where many villagers were killed and several others wounded
