The Nigeria Hydrological Services has blamed sub-nationals including state and local governments for disregarding “adequate and timely warnings” and weather advisories issued to avert deadly flood disasters in different parts of the country.
Massive flooding has been experienced in many coastal and non-coastal parts if Nigeria in the last few weeks due to heavy raind and inflow from external places like Cameroon.
