The National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS has delisted ten Health Management Organizations, otherwise called HMOs, for failing to meet the minimum operational criteria.
Executive Secretary of NHIS, Professor Mohammed Sambo revealed this to newsmen in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Sambo further revealed that the decision was reached after a validity test was carried out, saying that several other management health organizations may be delisted If they are found wanting during the next accreditation by the regulator.
