Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared a state of emergency regarding food security within the country.
Presidential spokesman Dele Alake communicated this information during a media briefing at the State House on Thursday.
As Oge Obierika reports Tinubu emphasized the need to augment revenue generated from food and agricultural exports as part of the measures to address the issue.
