The Federal Government of Nigeria says it is considering a nationwide ban on motorcycle and mining activities in the country as part of its strategy to curb terrorist activities as well as cut off their sources of funding and logistics.

Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami revealed this after the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.

The Minister said that investigations are still ongoing especially to establish the link between mining and motorcycles which they suspect provide funding for the supply of arms to the terrorists.
