The Nigerian Railway Corporation says all train passengers abducted by gunmen on January 7 in the country’s South-South state of Edo have regained freedom.
Although 30 people were reported kidnapped at the train station in Igueben,
Chris Nehikhare, the state’s Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, in an intelligence report showed that 20 persons were abducted.
Many of the travellers during the attack also sustained injuries from gunshots fired by the attackers.
