Nigeria’s Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Aviation have criticized the unveiling of “Nigeria Air” saying the project was shrouded in secrecy.

The Committee members expressed their misgivings towards the unveiling of the national carrier during a meeting with officials of the Aviation ministry.

The Lawmakers after careful evaluation of the issues, were dissatisfied with the former Minister of Aviation for flagging off the operations despite a standing Court injunction against such, and without any provision for sustaining the airline.
