Gambian President Adama Barrow over the weekend reintroduced the national cleansing exercise at Westfield, in the Kanifing Municipality.

National cleansing exercise popular known as “set-setal” a word in the local Wolof dialect meaning cleanliness was introduced by former President Yahya Jammeh during his regime

The monthly national cleansing exercise was observed with a view to promoting cleanliness and a healthy environment.

On Saturday, President Barrow led his men and other security agencies to a cleaning exercise in the capital and the Kanifing Municipality.

Our Banjul correspondent Sankulleh Janko joined them and filed in this report.
