Togo and Morocco have agreed to abolish issuing travel visas to travellers between the two countries.
This is according to a statement from the Togolese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the statement, the agreement of July 21, 2022, abolishing visas for holders of ordinary passports between the Togolese Republic and the Kingdom of Morocco has officially entered into force.
Consequently, holders of the national passports of the two countries will no longer need to acquire travel visas.
The statement however cautioned citizens to "comply with the laws and regulations in force in the kingdom.”
