The Burkinabe transitional government on Wednesday announced More than 400 Burkinabe migrants were repatriated back to the country during the first three weeks of January 2024.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement said other batch of Burkinabe migrants are also expected in the coming days, from countries such as Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, and Chad.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) met with the Transitional Government to discuss the management of migrants who returned home.
