The Nigerian Armed Forces have declared war against political thugs and politicians who intend to instigate any form of violence before, during and after the 2023 general elections.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, issued this warning on Thursday at a briefing on the updates of military operations conducted across the country, held in the nation's capital, Abuja.
He stressed that the country's desire to have a peaceful general election must come to fruition in 2023.
