Mali’s Transitional Assembly this week opened the ordinary session with a focus on the referendum and the upcoming general elections as well as the country’s fight against terrorism.

Around thirty bills and proposals will be examined during the three months session.

In addition to the proposed tasks, there are also plans for the monitoring of government action, field missions by the commissions as well as capacity-building sessions.
