The leaders of the former rebels of the Coordination of Azawad Movements (CMA) and the June 14 Platform have agreed following the tensions in the management of the municipality of Aguelhok.
The groups say that the signing of the accord provides protection for civilians and aid workers throughout northern Mali.
The former rivals commit to pooling their forces by creating a mixed post in the town of Aguelhok and establishing joint management of this town in northern Mali.
