Mali’s public prosecutor at the Bamako Court of Appeal has announced the opening of a judicial enquiry against a dozen people, including terrorist leaders and leaders of independent armed groups in the north.

They are all accused, among other things, of alleged criminal conspiracy, acts of terrorism and illegal possession of weapons of war.
