Mali is currently hosting an international seminar focused on the role of media in crisis management in the Sahel, extending until Friday.

The primary aim of this gathering is to promote a professional approach among journalists in handling information, thereby aiding in the construction of peace in a region heavily impacted by terrorism.

Another crucial aspect is the establishment of a trustful relationship between the media and the defence and security forces, particularly in an area where the practice of journalism poses significant challenges.
