In Mali, the President of Niger’s transitional government, General Abdourahamane Tiani, has completed a short working visit to Bamako
The Niamey strongman’s visit to his Malian counterpart was aimed at strengthening relations, particularly security and economic relations, between Niger and Mali within the Alliance of Sahel States.
During their tête-à-tête, General Tiani asked for Mali’s support in dealing with the ECOWAS sanctions that are hitting Niger hard.
