The second phase of the national dialogue on the re-foundation of the state is underway in Mali.

This second phase of the dialogue will last for four days and aims to return the country to civilian rule following the country’s August 2020 coup.

The authorities are showcasing the “National Conference on Reform” as a chance for the public to foster change, but main groups have already lashed the project and said they will boycott it.
