There have been new arrest in Mali for financial embezzlement surrounding the purchase of some military equipment.

While the case dates back to 2014 under the presidency of the late Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, the former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces General Moussa Bemba Keita, the former Minister of Security and other officers were arrested on Tuesday.
