The general staff of the armed forces (Fama) says the military remains determined in the fight against jihadists across the Sahelian nation.

The top army chief’s remark comes after the success of recent counter-offensive operations that led to the destruction of terrorist hideouts.

As Abdullahi Hassan reports, the operations Maliko plan and Keletigui were launched against terrorists that have continued to terrorize civilian populations in selected localities.
