The recently appointed Director General of the Civil Service Agency of Liberia, Josiah Joekai, has expressed concern over the substantial wage bill inherited from the previous administration of George Weah.

Joekai stated that there are over 67,000 people employed in the public sector, a situation he said has significantly inflated the wage bill.
