Stakeholders in Liberia on Wednesday held a day long emergency meeting intended to address the shortage of the local currency in the country.

In the past one week, there has been a shortage of local currency as persons queuing up in banks to withdraw money from their accounts or en-cash pay checks are told that there is a shortage of the local currency.
