The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Labor has turned over 16 trafficked Sierra Leoneans to the International Organization for Migration, for repatriation
According to Liberia’s Labor Minister Charles Gibson, who heads the country's anti-human trafficking task force, the traffickers were arrested, prosecuted, and sentenced to 25 years imprisonment in connection with the crime.
