The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission says it is partnering with the Network of Anti-Corruption Institutions of West Africa to investigate corruption cases in Liberia and other West African countries.
Since independence in 1847, corruption continues to undermine the growth of Liberia—a major reason for the 14 years of civil war that ended in 2003.
