In Liberia, political tension is heating up ahead of the December 8, midterm senate election and a constitutional referendum.

The referendum seeks to reduce the current six-years presidential and Representatives tenures to five years and reduce the tenure of senators from 9 to seven years respectively.   

But as WADR’s Darlington Porkpa reports from Monrovia, opposition Political leaders in the country have called for a boycott of the referendum.
