A feasibility study conducted by the Liberia Rural Renewable Energy Agency shows that about 930 million United States Dollars is needed to electrify 30 percent of rural Liberia using solar energy.
According to the institution’s Executive Director Joseph Williams, the study was conducted by the Ministry of Mines and Energy with funding from the European Union.
