The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation- LWSC, has announced another major breakdown of its transmission pipelines that supply water to the capital.

This means that tens of thousands of households in Monrovia and neighbouring communities will be without pipe-borne water for an unspecified period.

With hand washing and sanitation being at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 and few alternatives for water supply available, many are in panic mode, hopeful the transmission pipelines will be restored quickly.
